Brake Pedal Assembly Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove steering column, see STEERING COLUMN REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove instrument panel, see INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect brake light switch connector.
- Remove battery.
- For M/T model, disconnect clutch master cylinder, see CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- For CVT model, remove brake pedal bracket nut (1) located in engine compartment.
- Remove clip (2) and clevis pin (3) from cylinder push rod clevis (1).
- Remove brake pedal bracket bolts (1) and brake booster nuts (2).
- Remove brake booster from dash panel, see BRAKE BOOSTER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove accelerator pedal bracket, see ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY (INCORPORATING APP SENSOR) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove brake pedal and clutch pedal assembly or brake pedal assembly.
M/T model: Brake pedal and clutch pedal assembly
CVT model: Brake pedal assembly
