Brake Booster Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove following parts.
- Battery and battery tray, see BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Air cleaner, see AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect brake pipes from ESP® hydraulic unit/control module assembly and from brake master cylinder assembly, see BRAKE HOSE AND PIPE COMPONENTS .
- Remove brake master cylinder assembly from brake booster, see Brake Master Cylinder Assembly Removal and Installation .
- Disconnect vacuum hose from brake booster, see BRAKE BOOSTER COMPONENTS .
- Disconnect brake light switch connector.
- Remove push rod clevis pin.
- Remove brake booster nuts to remove brake booster from dash panel.
