DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Registration data check 
  1. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
  2. Connect scan tool to DLC.
  3. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
  4. Check registered VIN data, see REGISTERED VIN DATA CHECK .

Is registered VIN data correct? 		 Go to Step 3. Resister correct VIN data to ECM, see VIN REGISTRATION .
3  DTC recheck 
  1. Clear DTC, see DTC CLEARANCE .
  2. Perform DTC confirmation procedure and recheck DTC, see DTC CHECK .

Is DTC P0630 still detected? 		 Check ECM power and ground circuits, see ECM POWER AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK .
If OK, replace ECM and recheck DTC, see ECM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .		 End.
