DTC Confirmation Procedure
WARNING:
If you do not select a suitable route and take proper precautions when performing a road test, an accident can occur.
- Select a level road with no traffic to minimize the risk of accident.
- Perform the test extremely carefully.
- Perform the road test using 2 persons, a driver and an assistant.
NOTE:
Be sure to troubleshoot first unexpected DTCs previously detected in "DTC Confirmation Procedure".
- Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
- Drive vehicle at 100 km/h (62 mile/h) for 1 min. (Keep throttle valve opening constantly in this step.)
- Release accelerator pedal, and keep vehicle coasting for 6 sec. with engine braking applied. (fuel cut condition)
