DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "ESP® System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ESP® SYSTEM CHECK .
2  DTC check 
  1. Perform DTC CHECK .

Is there DTC(s) other than C1074 or C1075? 		 Go to APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING . Go to Step 3.
3  Sensor calibration 
  1. Calibrate all sensors, see SENSOR CALIBRATION OF ESP® .

Is sensor calibration completed? 		 Go to Step 4. Replace steering angle sensor. Refer to STEERING ANGLE SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  1. Clear all DTC(s) and check DTC.

Is DTC C1074 and/or C1075 still detected? 		 DTC C1074: Substitute a known-good ESP® control module and recheck DTC, see ESP® HYDRAULIC UNIT/CONTROL MODULE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
DTC C1075: Replace steering angle sensor and recheck DTC, see STEERING ANGLE SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .		 Calibration was incomplete.
