DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "ESP® System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ESP® SYSTEM CHECK .
2  DTC check for ESP® 
  1. Perform DTC CHECK .

Is DTC U0073 and/or U0100 detected? 		 Go to APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING . Go to Step 3.
3  Brake light switch circuit check 
  1. Check brake light, brake light switch and their circuit. Refer to LIGHTING SYSTEM SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS

Are they in good condition? 		 Substitute a known-good ESP® control module and recheck DTC, see ESP® HYDRAULIC UNIT/CONTROL MODULE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . Repair or replace.
