Anti-Pinching Function Check

NOTE: If the sunroof pinches the hard part of the hammer handle or the like which is not wrapped with cloth, the roof of the vehicle may be damaged. Make sure that the sunroof pinches the cloth-wrapped part of the hammer handle or the like.

Slide open the sun roof glass fully.
Place hammer handle wrapped with cloth close to fully closed position.

Conduct auto slide close of sun roof glass.
Check that sun roof glass reverses (open about 200 mm (7.87 in.)) automatically instead of pinching hammer handle.
If defect is found, replace sun roof motor.
