Reverse Operation Stroke of Anti-Pinching Function

  1. If a load exceeding the preset level is applied to the window glass, the window glass reverses by approx. 145 mm (5.71 in.).
  2. The reverse operation is continued or stopped depending on the window position when the reverse operation is finished as shown in the following table.

    Opening distance (distance between top of glass and uppermost position of glass run at outside of the vehicle) after reverse operation Operation
    Approx. 250 mm (9.84 in.) or more Reverse operation continues until one of the following conditions is met:
    • Downward distance reaches 145 mm (5.71 in.)
    • 2.5-second elapse
    Approx. 250 mm (9.84 in.) or less Reverse operation continues until one of the following conditions is met.
    • Downward distance reaches 250 mm (9.84 in.)
    • 5.0-second elapse

If the window glass is reached to the fully open position before it opens approx. 145 mm, the reverse operation is stopped.
