Inspection of Power Window Anti-Pinching Function

Open door glass fully.
Place wood handle of hammer as shown in figure.
CAUTION: If you try to inspect the anti-pinching function with your finger or arm, you may get injured. Do not inspect the anti-pinching function using a part of your body.

NOTE: When checking anti-pinching function of a vehicle equipped with door visor, contact of hammer handle or the like with door visor may damage door visor. Place hammer handle from inside of the vehicle to prevent it from touching door visor.

NOTE: Use switch on each door when checking.
Activate auto up of power window.
Check that window glass automatically reverses to prevent pinching the hammer handle (to a point about 250 mm (9.84 in.) below outside top end (1) of glass run.), see POWER WINDOW SYSTEM INITIALIZATION/RESET (FRONT WINDOWS ONLY)
If the function is faulty, initialize power window system, see POWER WINDOW SYSTEM INITIALIZATION/RESET (FRONT WINDOWS ONLY) .
