DTC Troubleshooting

NOTE: An inability to register the immobilizer normally may be caused by remote controller malfunctioning.
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Step Action YES NO
1  Remote controller registration 
  1. Perform "Immobilizer Key Registration".
  2. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
  3. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
  4. Recheck DTC.

Is DTC B1173 still detected? 		 Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC, see KEYLESS START CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . End. (Remote controller was not registered)
