Contact Coil Cable Assembly Removal and Installation: Removal

Remove steering wheel from steering column, see STEERING WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove steering column upper cover (1) and column hole blind holder (2).

Remove tapping screws (1) and screw (2). Detach steering column lower cover (3).

Disconnect contact coil cable assembly connector (1) as follows.
1. Release locking slider (1) by sliding it to arrow direction "1".
2. After unlocked, disconnect contact coil cable assembly connector by pulling it to arrow direction "2".
Disconnect steering switch connector (1).

Remove lighting & turn signal switch and wiper & washer switch, see LIGHTING AND TURN SIGNAL SWITCH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . /WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Remove steering angle sensor connector (4).
Remove screws (1) and detach contact coil cable assembly (3) with claw (2) released.
Remove screws (1) and steering angle sensor (2) from contact coil cable assembly (3).
