DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "EPS System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to EPS System Check.
2  DTC check 
  1. Check DTC.

Is there DTC(s) other than C1164? 		 Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC(s). Go to Step 3.
3  BCM check 
  1. Check BCM.

Is it in good condition? 		 Substitute a known-good P/S control module and recheck DTC, see P/S CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . Substitute a known-good BCM and recheck DTC, see BCM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
