DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
2  DTC check 
  1. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
  2. Connect scan tool to DLC.
  3. Push engine switch to change ignition of keyless push start system mode to "ON".
  4. Check SDM for DTC.

Are there any DTC(s) from B1311 to B1318? 		 Go to applicable DTC diag. flow. Go to Step 3.
3  OCM power supply and ground circuit check 
  1. Check OCM power supply and ground circuit. OCM POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK 

Is OCM in good condition? 		 Go to Step 4. Repair OCM power supply or ground circuit.
4  DTC check 
  1. Recheck SDM for DTC.

Is DTC B1018 still detected? 		 Replace OCM. Refer to FRONT SEAT COMPONENTS and recheck it. If DTC is still detected, replace SDM. Refer to SDM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONNECTION AND POOR CONTACT INSPECTION
NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
  • Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
  • Clear DTCs. Refer to DTC CLEARANCE , if any.
  • Repeat AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
