Evaporator Temperature Sensor Inspection

Reference: EVAPORATOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 

1. Measure resistance between terminals of evaporator temperature sensor.
2. Check that the resistance decreases as temperature rises as shown in the illustration.

   If check result is not as specified, replace evaporator temperature sensor.

   Evaporator temperature sensor resistance 

   0 °C (32 °F): 6.65 - 6.84 kΩ 

   25 °C (77 °F): 2.00 - 2.14 kΩ
