Precautions for Diagnosing Trouble

NOTE: When diagnosing vehicle kept indoors, an incandescent light must be shining down on the sunload sensor from directly above it.
Otherwise, DTC is indicated even if sunload sensor is normal.

Before using scan tool, read its "Operator's (Instruction) Manual" to know how to use it.
After troubleshooting, DTC can be stored in HVAC control module memory as history DTC.
Be sure to clear all DTCs after completing troubleshooting.
