Steering Wheel Removal and Installation: Notes

WARNING: Handle removed drive air bag with care. Refer to PRECAUTIONS FOR HANDLING AND STORAGE OF AIR BAG SYSTEM COMPONENTS .

CAUTION:

Do not turn the contact coil cable assembly more than allowable number of turns (about two and a half turns from the center position clockwise or counterclockwise respectively) with steering wheel removed, or contact coil cable will break.
Be careful not to damage and excessive shock steering column assembly.
