P/S Motor Inspection

  1. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
  2. Disconnect "P/S control module (P/S motor (1P))" connector and "P/S control module (P/S motor (2P))" connector from P/S control module.
  3. Check continuity between each terminal at P/S motor side. Replace steering gear case if defective.

    P/S motor circuit resistance 

    Between "A-1" terminal and "B-1" terminal Continuity (at 20 °C (68 °F)) 

    Between "A-1" terminal and "B-2" terminal Continuity (at 20 °C (68 °F)) 

    Between "B-1" terminal and "B-2" terminal Continuity (at 20 °C (68 °F))
