Propeller Shaft Assembly Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
- Before separating each flange, give matchmark on flange and corresponding yoke.
- Be careful not to give damage to universal joint oil seals when holding the propeller shaft by using screw driver or the like.
- Hoist vehicle.
- Remove floor tunnel front brace (1).
- Remove exhaust pipe No. 1 and No. 2, see EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove heat protector panel No. 1, see EXHAUST SYSTEM COMPONENTS .
- Before removing propeller shaft assembly (1), give matchmark (2) on joint flange and propeller shaft as shown.
- Separate propeller shaft assembly from transfer output flange (3) and rear differential flange (4).
- Remove propeller shaft by removing center support bolts (1).
