Propeller Shaft Assembly Removal and Installation: Installation

CAUTION:
- Be sure to use new center support bolts and propeller shaft front bolts pre-coated with friction stabilizer.
- Be sure to use new propeller shaft rear bolts pre-coated with adhesive.
Reverse removal procedure, noting the following points:
- Tighten new center support bolts (1) to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Center support bolt (a): 45 N.m (4.6 kg-m, 33.5 lbf-ft)
- Align matchmark (4) of each flange when installing propeller shaft.
- Tighten propeller shaft new front bolts (1) and new rear bolts (2) to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Propeller shaft front bolt (a): 26 N.m (2.7 kg-m, 19.5 lbf-ft)
Propeller shaft rear bolt (b): 33 N.m (3.4 kg-m, 24.5 lbf-ft)
