Propeller Shaft Construction

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Universal joints and ball joint require no maintenance. They are lubricated for life and can not be lubricated on the vehicle. If a universal joint becomes noisy or worn, it must be replaced as a propeller shaft assembly.

The propeller shaft is a balanced unit. Handle it carefully so that balance can be maintained.
