DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
Check TDC 
  1. Clear DTC.
  2. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE , and CHECK DTC .

Is DTC C1282 still detected? 
Go to Step 2. End.
Parameter check 1 
  1. Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "OFF".
  2. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
  3. Check "Transfer Oil Temperature" displayed on SUZUKI scan tool.

Is maximum value or current value higher than 120°C (248°F)? 
Keep ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON" until parameter reading of "Transfer Oil Temperature" falls below 120°C (248°F). Go to Step 3. Go to Step 3.
Parameter check 2 
  1. Check "4WD Unit Temperature" displayed on SUZUKI scan tool.

Is maximum value or current value higher than 80°C (176°F)? 
Keep ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON" until parameter reading of "4WD Unit Temperature" falls below 80°C (176°F). Go to Step 4. Go to Step 4.
Check TDC 
  1. Clear DTC.
  2. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE , and CHECK DTC .

Is DTC C1282 still detected? 
Keep ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON" for 30 minutes. End.
