DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

1  Scan tool parameter check 
  1. Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "OFF".
  2. Select "DATA LIST" mode on scan tool.
  3. Check the displayed of scan tool related to "wiper switch", "lighting switch" and "rain/light sensor", see Scan Tool Data .

Are data list parameters related to "wiper switch", "lighting switch" and "rain/light sensor" normal? 		 Replace rain/light sensor and recheck DTC. If DTC B1670 is still detected, substitute a known-good BCM and recheck DTC. Diagnose the defective parameter, see LIGHTING SYSTEM SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS /WIPER AND WASHER SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS .
