Inside Air Temperature Sensor Inspection

Reference: INSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 

  1. Blow hot air to inside air temperature sensor (1), and measure resistance by using ohmmeter (3).
  2. Check that the resistance decreases as temperature rises as shown.

    If check result is not as specified, replace inside air temperature sensor.

    Inside air temperature sensor specification 

    • 0 °C (32 °F): 5.22 - 5.78 kΩ 
    • 25 °C (77 °F): 1.61 - 1.79 kΩ
