A/C Compressor Disassembly and Reassembly: Reassembly

Reverse disassembly procedure noting the following points.

Fit protrusion (1) on underside of magnet clutch coil into hole (2) on A/C compressor body assembly.

Use new snap rings.
Press fit magnet clutch pulley (1) by using special tool and hydraulic press.
Special Tool

Apply thread lock cement to thread part of armature plate bolt and tighten it to specified torque.
Tightening torque

Armature plate bolt: 18 N.m (1.8 kg-m, 13.5 lbf-ft)

: Thread lock cement 99000-32050 (Thread Lock Cement 1342)
After reassembling A/C compressor, confirm clearance between armature plate and magnet clutch, see A/C Compressor Inspection .
