Front Suspension Frame Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove engine undercover.
- Remove front bumper lower cover, see FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove exhaust pipe No. 2, see EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove propeller shaft (4WD model), see PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove front stabilizer bar joints, see Front Stabilizer Bar/Front Stabilizer Bar Joint Removal and Installation .
- Remove suspension arms, see Suspension Arm Removal and Installation .
- Separate steering lower shaft and steering gear box, see STEERING GEAR CASE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove P/S motor connector, resolver/torque sensor connector and grounding from P/S controller, see STEERING GEAR CASE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Support engine transmission transfer assembly (4WD model) using hoist.
- Detach front engine mounting (1) and engine rear mounting (2) from front suspension frame.
- Remove front suspension frame mounting bracket bolts (1) and front suspension frame mounting bracket nut (2) and loosen front suspension frame No. 1 bolt (3) and front suspension frame No. 2 bolt (4) evenly to remove front suspension frame mounting bracket (5) and front suspension frame (6).
- Remove front stabilizer bar and steering gear case from front suspension frame.
