Replacement Tire Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Refer to the Tire Placard. Replacement tires should be of the same size, load range and construction as those originally installed on the vehicle. Using tires of any other size or type may affect ride, handling, speedometer/odometer calibration, vehicle ground clearance and tire or snow chain clearance to the body and chassis.

It is recommended that new tires be installed in pairs on the same axle. If replacing only one tire is unavoidable, it should be paired with the tire of the best tread condition to equalize braking traction. The tire inflation pressure is indicated in kilo-pascal (kPa) while it is also indicated in kgf/cm2 and psi on the Tire Placard. Metric tire gauges are available from tool suppliers. The table below shows unit conversion for commonly used inflation pressures.
