Front Brake Disc Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Hoist vehicle and remove front wheel, see WHEEL (WITH TIRE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove front brake caliper and brake pads, see Front Brake Pad Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove front brake caliper carrier bolts (1) and remove front brake caliper carrier (2) from steering knuckle.

  4. Push out brake disc (2) by tightening two M8 bolts (1) evenly into jack bolt holes.
