Rear Side Impact Sensor Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: REAR SIDE IMPACT SENSOR INSPECTION

Check that none of the following faulty conditions exists.
- Bend, deformation or rust on quarter inner panel.
- Foreign material on sensor.
Align mounting pin (1) to mounting hole (2) of vehicle to install rear side impact sensor (3) securely.
Tighten rear side impact sensor bolt to specified torque.
Tightening torque

Rear side air bag bolt (a): 9 N.m (0.9 kg-m, 6.5 lbf-ft)
Connect rear side impact sensor connector securely.

Install bolster.
Install rear seat.
Enable air bag system.
