Forward-Impact Sensor Inspection

Check forward-impact sensor and if any of the following condition is found, replace it with new one.

Driver air bag or passenger air bag has deployed.
Check sensor for dents, cracks or deformation.
Check sensor connector (sensor side and harness side) and sensor connector lock mechanism for damage or crack.
Check connector terminals for bend, corrosion or rust.
