DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
Battery voltage check 
  1. Check battery voltage.

Is voltage in 9 - 16 V? 
Go to Step 2. Check charging system and repair it.
SDM connection check 
  1. Check for proper connection to SDM connector.

Is it connected securely? 
Go to Step 3. Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent trouble.
If OK, substitute a known-good SDM and recheck connection.
Fuse check 
  1. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
  2. Check "A/B" fuse.

Is "A/B" fuse in good condition? 
Go to Step 4. Replace defective harness and then replace "A/B" fuse.
Power circuit check 
  1. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
  2. Disconnect "L04" connector.
  3. Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
  4. Measure voltage between "L04-18" terminal and ground.

    Special Tool 

    1. 09932-76010

Is voltage in 10 - 14 V? 
Go to Step 5. Replace defective harness.
Ground circuit check 
  1. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
  2. Measure resistance between "L04-23" terminal ground.

    Special Tool 

    1. 09932-76010 
G06526943

Is resistance 1 Ω or less? 
SDM power circuit and ground circuit are in good condition. Replace defective harness.
