CPP Switch (for Cruise Control) Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: CPP SWITCH (FOR CRUISE CONTROL) INSPECTION 

  1. Install CPP switch (for cruise control) (1) to pedal bracket.
  2. With clutch pedal (4) released, adjust switch position so that clearance between end (3) of thread and clutch pedal bracket is within specification.

    Clearance between end of thread and clutch pedal bracket 

    "a": 1.6 - 2.0 mm (0.063 - 0.079 in.) 

  3. Tighten lock nut (2) to specified torque.

    Tightening torque 

    CPP switch lock nut (a): 7.5 N.m (0.8 kg-m, 5.5 lbf-ft)

  4. Connect connector to CPP switch (for cruise control) securely.
  5. Install instrument panel undercover.
