DTC Troubleshooting

NOTE: If keyless start control module is used in another vehicle before, remote controller cannot be registered. Always install new keyless start control module whenever replacing is necessary.
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Step Action YES NO
1  DTC check 
  1. Check DTC in ECM, see DTC TABLE .

Is there any DTC detected? 		 Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. Go to Step 2.
2  DTC recheck 
  1. Perform "ECM Registration".
  2. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
  3. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
  4. Recheck DTC.

Is DTC B1167 still detected? 		 Go to Step 3. End. (ECM was not registered)
3  Remote controller registration 
  1. Perform "Immobilizer Key Registration".
  2. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
  3. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
  4. Recheck DTC.

Is DTC B1167 still detected? 		 Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC, see KEYLESS START CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
If DTC B1167 is still detected, replace ECM and recheck DTC.		  
End. (Remote controller was not registered)
