High Mount Stop Light Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove trunk lid trim, see TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove rear spoiler (if equipped), see REAR SPOILER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (IF EQUIPPED) .
  3. Disconnect high mount stop light connector.
  4. Remove high mount stop light nuts (1), and remove high mount stop light holder (2) and high mount stop light (3).
    NOTE: Remove gasket remaining on trunk lid after removing high mount stop light.
