DTC detecting condition Trouble area
DTC P2004: Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open EVAP-Leak-Check Model 
Opening angle of IMRC valve is higher than 9.7° even if command signal of IMRC valve is fully closed signal for 5 sec.
(2 D/C detection logic)
Non-EVAP-Leak-Check Model 
Opening angle of IMRC valve is higher than 45° even if command signal of IMRC valve is fully closed signal for 5 sec.
(2 D/C detection logic)
  • IMRC valve motor and/or its circuit
  • IMRC valve
  • ECM
DTC P2006: Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Closed 
EVAP-Leak-Check Model 
Opening angle of IMRC valve is lower than 57° even if command signal of IMRC valve is fully open signal for 5 sec.

Non-EVAP-Leak-Check Model 
Opening angle of IMRC valve is lower than 45° even if command signal of IMRC valve is fully open signal for 5 sec.
