Exhaust Manifold Removal and Installation: Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following.

• Use new gaskets and new seal rings.
• Install A/F sensor and HO2S. Refer to A/F (AIR FUEL RATIO) SENSOR, HO2S (HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
• Use new O-ring (2) for oil level gauge guide (1) and apply engine oil to it when installing oil level gauge guide to oil pan (3).

• Tighten oil level gauge guide bolt (1) to specified torque.

  Tightening torque 

  Oil level gauge guide bolt (a): 11 N.m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.5 lbf-ft)

• Run engine and check for exhaust leaks.
