Battery Charging Failure

Condition Possible Cause Action
Undercharged battery  Accessory drive belt loose or worn Replace accessory drive belt  . Refer to Accessory Drive Belt Removal and Installation 
Battery terminals loose or corroded Tighten battery terminals or replace battery  . Refer to Battery Removal and Installation 
Rectifier, rotor or IC regulator faulty Repair or replace generator  . Refer to Generator Removal and Installation 
Overcharged battery  IC regulator faulty Repair or replace generator  . Refer to Generator Removal and Installation
