Gear Shift and Select Shaft Assembly Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove battery and tray with ECM. See ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect gear shift and gear select control cables from transaxle. See GEAR SHIFT CONTROL LEVER AND CABLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove gear shift interlock bolt (1) and gear shift locating spring (2).
- Remove gear shift & select shaft assembly (3).
