P0649: TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

1	DTC check Check DTC related to CAN communication for ECM, TCM (CVT model), SDM (Advanced air bag model), 4WD control module ABS/ESP® control module, BCM and keyless start control module (with keyless start system). Is there any CAN-DTC(s) detected?	Go to TROUBLESHOOTING FOR CAN-DTC .	Replace combination meter and recheck DTC. If DTC P0649 is still detected, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
