Suspension Arm Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Hoist vehicle and remove wheel.
  2. Remove steering knuckle with front wheel hub referring to FRONT WHEEL HUB, STEERING KNUCKLE AND WHEEL BEARING REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove suspension arm bolts (1).
    CAUTION: The suspension arm bolts are pre-coated with friction stabilizer. If these bolts are reused, they may work loose. Be sure to replace the suspension arm bolts with new ones whenever they are removed.
  4. Remove suspension arm (2).
