Precautions in Wheels and Tires Servicing: Notes

Wheel repairs that use welding, heating, or peeling are not approved. All damaged wheels should be replaced.
There are two types of vehicles, whether equipped with TPMS or not. Check which type of vehicle is being serviced, referring to IDENTIFICATION OF VEHICLE WITH TPMS first before servicing its tire or wheel. Failure to follow the specified procedure when servicing the tire or wheel of the TPMS equipped vehicle may cause damage to the tire pressure sensor.
