EVAP Leak Detection Pump Circuit Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position, clear DTC and select "Active Test" mode on SUZUKI scan tool.
  2. Using SUZUKI scan tool, check that operating sound of EVAP leak detection pump is heard only when pump is switched ON.

    If operating sound of EVAP leak detection pump is heard, EVAP leak detection pump and its circuit are good condition.

    If operating sound of EVAP leak detection pump is not heard, check EVAP leak detection pump, wire harness and connections.
