DTC Troubleshooting

B1557: SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING REFERENCE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Air Conditioning System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM CHECK: AUTO A/C .
2  DTC check 
  1. Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition switch turned OFF.
  2. Check DTC in ECM.

Is DTC P0500 detected? 		 Go to applicable DTC diag. flow. Substitute a known-good HVAC control module and a known-good BCM individually and recheck.
