DTC Troubleshooting

B1157 TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  DTC check of SDM 
  1. Check DTC stored in SDM referring to DTC CHECK (Except advanced Air Bag) or DTC CHECK (Advanced Air Bag).

Is DTC B1021 detected? 		 Go to DTC B1021: FRONT AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT RECORD (Except advanced Air Bag) or DTC B1021: FRONT AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT RECORD (Advanced Air Bag). Substitute a known-good BCM and recheck.
