Outside air temperature

BCM calculates outside air temperature using signal from outside air temperature sensor and sends outside air temperature signal through CAN communication to combination meter.
Display range of outside air temperature is from -30 °C (-22 °F) to 50 °C (122 °F). When ignition switch is turned on, "-°C (-°F)" appears on LCD until outside air temperature signal is received. Also, there is freezing mark (1) which warns driver of frozen road surface.
NOTE:
- Freezing mark (1) turns on when outside air temperature drops lower than 3 °C (37.4 °F) and turns off when it rises to 5 °C (41 °F).)
- Displayed valve is not changed when vehicle is at stop or running at lower than 30 km/h (19 mile/h) even if outside air temperature rises.
