Water Pump Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: WATER PUMP INSPECTION 

Reverse removal procedure for installation noting the following points.

• Use new gasket and O-ring.
• Install water pump assembly to cylinder block and tighten bolts to specified torque.

  Tightening torque 

  Water pump bolt (a): 25 N.m (2.5 kg-m, 18.5 lbf-ft)

• Refill cooling system, see COOLING SYSTEM REFILLING .
• Verify that there is no coolant leakage at each connection.
