Front Disc Brake Pad Inspection
Reference: FRONT DISC BRAKE PAD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Check pad lining (1) for wear. When the wear exceeds limit, replace with new one.
CAUTION:
If the brake pad lining is polished with sandpaper, abrading particles will be embedded in the lining and will damage the brake disc. Do not polish a rough pad lining with sandpaper. Replace the pad with a new one.
NOTE:
When pads are removed, visually inspect caliper for brake fluid leak. Correct leaky point, if any.

Standard: 10 mm (0.39 in.)
Limit: 2 mm (0.08 in.)
