Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Immobilizer Control System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview Immobilizer Control System Check.

2. DTC confirmation

Clear DTC referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance.
Turn the ignition switch to OFF position.
Check DTC referring to DTC Check DTC Check.

Is DTC P1625 still detected?
YES -
Substitute a known-good ICM and recheck DTC. If DTC P1625 is still detected, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
NO -
Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent referring to Intermittent and Poor Connection Inspection Intermittent and Poor Connection Inspection.
