DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Electronic Stability Program Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to "Electronic Stability Program Check".

2. Check ESP(R) hydraulic unit / control module assembly power supply and ground circuit

Check that ESP(R) hydraulic unit / control module assembly power supply circuit and ground circuit is in good condition referring to ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check ESP(R) Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check.

Are check results OK?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair ESP(R) hydraulic unit / control module assembly power supply or ground circuit.

3. ESP(R) hydraulic unit / control module power supply voltage check

Measure battery voltage with engine running at 3000 rpm.

Is voltage 15 V or less?
YES -
Substitute a known-good ESP(R) hydraulic unit / control module assembly and recheck.
NO -
Check charging system referring to Testing and Inspection Generator Test.
