Stabilizer Bar: Testing and Inspection

Front Stabilizer Bar, Bush and/or Joint Check

Stabilizer Bar

Inspect for damage or deformation.

If defective, replace.






Stabilizer Bush

Inspect for damage, wear or deterioration.

If defective, replace.





Stabilizer Joint

1) Check for smooth rotation.
2) Check ball stud for damages.
3) Check dust cover for damages.

NOTE:
Stabilizer joint (1) cannot be disassembled.

If there is any damage to either part, stabilizer joint must be replaced as a complete unit.
