Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Removal and Installation

Removal

1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Remove air cleaner assembly. Air Cleaner Assembly Removal and Installation
3) Disconnect connector from CMP sensor.
4) Remove camshaft position sensor from cylinder head.

Installation

1) Install CMP sensor to cylinder head.

Tightening torque
CMP sensor bolt (a): 11 Nm (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lbf-ft)





2) Connect connector to CMP sensor securely.
3) Install air cleaner case. Air Cleaner Assembly Removal and Installation
4) Connect negative cable to battery.
